Guns N Roses rocker Axl Rose is NOT dead - just another ridiculous celebrity death hoax that's currently going viral on social media.
But no wonder why so many "Welcome To The Jungle" fans are falling for the morbid lie - a FAKE news report on Facebook links back to MSNBC (an otherwise pretty reliable source).
But this time, the entire thing is a (disgusting) joke!
If MstarsNews readers see this message on the popular social networking site, do NOT click! The page is most likely spam or some sort of other harmful malware:
A made-up spokesperson allegedly claims, "The home was entered by police through an open back door where a body was found in the foyer area."
Not true. This website has no real affiliation with the legit MSNBC.
Still, some Twitter fans had a minor meltdown over the "tragic" news... others found it rather humorous:
@awnelson17: "RIP Axl Rose. Don't terrorize the demons too much."
@zzzzaaaacccchhh: "TAKE ME DOWN TO THE INTERNET HOAX CITY / WHERE THE GRASS IS GREEN AND THE 'UNCONFIRMED REPORTS' CLAIM AXL ROSE IS DEAD / OH WON'T Y-..."
@DaliaMuzic: "RIP Axl Rose! One of my fav rock singers of one of the best rock bands Guns N' Roses!..."
@haydenblack: "Reports of Axl Rose's death are false. To clarify, Axl Rose's career is dead. Axl Rose is fine."
@o_joshEDWARD: "Grown men with buns on your heads: AXL ROSE DIED let this be a warning."
@Citizen_Insane_: "Ok, so Axl Rose is apparently alive & well and probably up to his elbows in Twinkie's laughing right about now. #CelebrityDeathHoax."
Don't fall for such #RIP nonsense unless the reports are confirmed by credible sources. Same thing just happened to the infamous "Dog Whisperer" Cesar Milan.
Rose hasn't said anything yet, but several outlets are definitely reporting this a hoax. So rock on!
