'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Recap "Blood Bath" [SPOILERS] Find Out Which Two Main Characters Died

It's time for the creepiest, freakiest hour on TV. American Horror Story: Freak Show was all-new this week, and this episode gets downright gory. It definitely lives up to the title "Blood Bath," with more than one fan favorite character getting killed off during the episode.

The story focuses around the freaks, as they try to pick up the pieces and move on after they become suspicious that someone is picking them off one by one. After learning of Ma Petite's death, the troupe of freaks thinks that there is a killer in their midst.

Jimmy, Dell, and Ethel find a box of tattered clothes in the woods and they soon come to the conclusion that that they are Ma Petite's. The clothes are all bloody and torn, and the group thinks that an animal attacked her. However, Dell knows the truth, as he is the one that murdered her.

However, Ethel thinks that the murder is none other than the shows leader herself, Elsa Mars. When she goes to confront Mars in private, the conversation turns pretty ugly. Ethel pulls out a gun and shoots a hole through Elsa's leg, which reveals to her that she is more like the freaks than she was leading on.

Elsa's storyline goes into a flashback and she reveals to Ethel how she got the prostatic legs back in Germany. However, none of the other freaks will ever find out about their conversation, as Elsa pulls out a knife and throws it straight through Ethel's eye.

To cover up her misdeed, Elsa has set up a scene so that the members of the freak show will think that Ethel took her own life in a car accident. At the funeral Elsa puts on the performance that is worthy of all the awards. She bawls her eyes out so that her carnies don't suspect that she is the one who actually took Ethel's Life.

Dandy's storyline also takes a creepy turn in this episode, as his mother Gloria meets with a psychiatrist, to talk about her son's odd behavior lately. She talks to the doctor, who viewers don't get a good look.

Gabourey Sidibe's character, Regina, also comes for a visit to the Mott residence during this episode as she is looking for her mother, who Dandy killed a few weeks ago. She and Dandy have a cute little exchange, as they play a board game together. Dandy and Gloria try to hide the fact that they killed her mother but it doesn't seem like it's working, as Regina is growing increasingly more suspicious.

Dandy ends up going to the psychiatrist but without much resolve. He comes home to tell his mother that the only way he will go back is if she kills Regina.

Meanwhile at the freak show, Desiree has rallied some of the girls to go after Penny's father, after he turned her into "lizard girl" by tattooing her face.

The gang kidnaps Penny's father and ends up torturing him. However, when they go too tar and feather him, Maggie steps in to deliver a pretty moving speech about the freaks, and how if they do this they will become even more freak-like. The speech is moving enough to get the girls to realize what they are doing and stop.

Things between Dandy and his mother reach a boiling point as Dandy confronts her about why he is the way he is. Saying that it is because of his mother, who married her second cousin and created Dandy through inbreeding, that he turned out to be a psychopath.

After confronting his mother he raises a gun to his head, seemingly going to take his own life. However, when his mother says she couldn't bare to live without him, Dandy turns the gun towards his mother and shoots her in the face. He then proceeds to strip butt naked and bath in a tub full of his mother's blood.
