Kelly Rowland's Mother Dead, Finally Remembers & Praises 'Incredible Soul,' Shocking Doris Rowland Garrison Death Before Birthday: Mourns With Baby Son & Husband Tim Witherspoon

Reports confirm that Kelly Rowland's beloved mother Doris Rowland Garrison suddenly passed away from undetermined health issues earlier this week. The woman who wholeheartedly raised the stunning Destiny's Child superstar would have celebrated her 67th birthday in just a few days. Several fans continue to mourn the tragic loss of Rowland's significant role model. And in a recent statement released to The Insider With Yahoo, the 33-year-old songstress honors her mother with this touching tribute:

"It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my mother... She was an incredible soul who made countless sacrifices so that I could become the woman - and now mother - I am today. We humbly appreciate all the love and support and only ask for privacy during this difficult time."

Rowland confirms that her mom died on Tuesday (December 2) in Atlanta, Georgia. Beyonce's gal pal has yet to post anything on social media regarding such sorrowful circumstances. Her latest Instagram snapshots praise her growing family - baby son Titan Jewell and new hubby, Tim Witherspoon:

Ms. Rowland Garrison welcomed her adorable grandson on November 4, 2014. She was able to enjoy just one month of love and bliss with her daughter's first child.

Back in 2001, the "Dirty Laundry" crooner told Interview magazine:

"When I was 9, my mom was working as a live-in nanny... We were rehearsing every day and, with my mom's schedule, she couldn't really take me back and forth to all the rehearsals. So in order to make it work, my mom asked Tina [Knowles], 'Could Kelly stay with you for the summer?' And the summer turned into [11 years]. But it was like a big ol' happy family because my mom came over every night to kiss me good night... I say I have three parents - Tina and Mathew [Beyoncé's father], and my mom - three wise people to help me."

Garrison left Rowland's abusive and alcoholic father (Christopher Lovett) when Kelly was just seven-years-old. She then raised the aspiring star primarily on her own.
