It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The St. Louis Blues battle it out on the ice against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Week 8 of the regular season on Thursday, December 4 at 8:00 p.m. EST at the United Center in Illinois. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Wednesday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Predators snag the impressive No. 1 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 16-6-2 winning record:
"The Preds have won four in a row and have allowed fewer goals than any other team while boasting the top 5-on-5 scoring ratio. You can start engraving Filip Forsberg's name on the Calder Trophy, and how about Peter Laviolette's work behind the bench?"
Meanwhile, the Blues currently hold the equally impressive No. 5 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 16-7-2 record. According to Burnside:
"The Blues, no stranger to adversity, keep putting up wins even without goalie Brian Elliott. It's a big week for former Devils legend Martin Brodeur and his comeback attempt. Here's hoping he gets a shot at keeping his dream alive."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSMW and FSTN, but fans can also listen in on the radio at KMOX, KTUI-FM, WBUZ, and WNSR.
