So, apparently some Eminem "fan pages" on the popular social networking site Facebook are actually fake.
Shocker!
But hey, it happens. Still, fans should be aware of some crazy scams currently going viral online...
Including this FAKE 2014 Cadillac Ciel Concept "giveaway" -
Only 24 Days Until Christmas, Can you Imagine yourself driving this Car? I'm about to make that happen, Its Official, I Will be giving away this 2014 Cadillac Ciel to one random lucky fan, all you gotta do is follow these three easy steps, Step 1) Share this photo, Step 2) Like my page, Slim Shady Step 3) Like this photo, Winner Will be picked On December 5th 4 Days Away, Good luck to Everyone!!
First off... the entire thing sounds shady (and totally unofficial).
Yes, it's a GREAT luxury car. But the Shady XV emcee isn't giving one away for Christmas. Sorry for the huge disappointment. Do not click on the link - it will probably leak to scam or some other sort of dangerous maleware.
The well-known automobile website AutoBlog.com reached-out to Cadillac spokesman, David Caldwell. According to Caldwell, this sort of phony thing happens all of the time. These "giveaways" go viral online, and then typically mysterious "disappear" just when the winner is supposed to be announced.
So, don't fall for the scam.
There's only one REAL Slim Shady - and he has over 97 million fans on Facebook. And the "Christmas surprise" does not exist on this legit page. Spread the word, MstarsNews readers!
But for those interested, get more info on the Ciel here.
The "Rap God" just released his highly-anticipated compliation album Shady XV back in November. He's still busy promoting that, not giving away cars (specifically ones NOT made in his beloved Detroit, like Chrysler).
