Could Carrie Underwood add one more thing to her busy schedule? We'd say it'd be hard to imagine, but then the expectant mother would prove us wrong once again. The pregnant country star, who announced early this year that she is expecting her first child with husband Mike Fisher, just unveiled her newest project. On top of gearing up to release her greatest hits album next week, Greatest Hits Decade 1, the American Idol winner just released the first images from her fitness clothing line.
According to E! News, the collection called Calia is a partnership between the singer and Dick's Sporting Goods, and Carrie's inspiration was to make clothes that could transfer from workout to everyday errands, according to a statement the singer released via Us Weekly.
"The inspiration for this line came from my desire to have clothes that seamlessly take me from workouts, to errands, to rehearsal and beyond," the star explained. "As someone who is passionate about health and fitness, I'm excited to offer women a wardrobe that will move with them and encourage them to stay the path of leading an active lifestyle."
The singer also revealed that the clothing line will be relatively reasonably price between $30-$85 and that costumers will be able to mix and match the pieces as she has made everything match.
"Everything pretty much matches each other, which is something that I think is really cool because if you don't have a lot of money to spend on things like this, it all needs to look good together," the singer told The Associated Press.
The collection will hit stores around the same time that Carrie's baby boy is suppose to arrive. The new items will be available exclusively at Dick's Sporting Good in March of 2015.
