PBS Digital Studios has unearthed a lost 1991 Playboy recording of the late actor-comedian, Robin Williams. In the PBS animated series, Blank on Blank, Williams presents two sides of himself as a comedic powerhouse and an introspective person.
As we previously mentioned, in a special segment during the Emmys ceremony, Billy Crystal gave a stirring, emotional tribute to the legendary comedian. Crystal reminisced about working with the legendary comedian, describing him as a friend and performer. It was a moving and heartfelt speech that only a true friend could deliver.
We also stated that the body of the 63 year old actor was cremated one day after he passed away. His official death certificate reports that his ashes were scattered along the San Francisco Bay.
According to Rolling Stone, the PBS animated series used audio clips from a previously unheard Playboy interview with Lawrence Grobel. Throughout the interview, the Aladdin voice actor jumps back and forth between silly rants to thoughtful reflections. The message comes clear as everything is put together to explain why human beings need comedy to survive.
Grobel realizes that in the year 2020, the Dead Poets Society actor will be 70 years old. What does he imagine the future to be like? The Oscar winner imagines the future, "It'll be one giant film corporation. There'll be no longer any government. It will be one nation, under God, indivisible, with circuits and VCRs for everyone...I don't know."

When discussing the roles of artists in modern society, the Good Will Hunting actor answers, ""As intellectual as we think we are, you still trip; we still have human foibles, sexuality, all the different things to still make you aware of your humanity. That's what we're supposed to do. It's just to keep us awake, cut through the shit, peel off the mask and go, 'Oh, you got a big nose.'"
