According to the publication, the series focuses on Beverly Snow played by Devon Terrell, "an African-American man who climbs the ladder of New York's high society."
"Bonham Carter is set to play Esther Kaufmann, an author/psychiatrist born into one of Manhattan's most prominent Jewish families, while Hall will play Rebecca Rotmensen, Snow's rival and the daughter of a billionaire," TV Line reported.
In other TV news, E!'s first-ever scripted series The Royals has set a premiere date. The hour-long drama series will premiere on Sunday, March 15. E! Online exclusively announced the news about the fresh series that follows a fictional modern-day monarchy in England.
The show stars Elizabeth Hurley as Queen Helena, William Moseley as Prince Liam, Alexander Park as Princess Eleanor and Merritt Patterson as Ophelia. The Royals will take an inside look at the scandal that comes from being part of the royal family.
"I just thought it would be really interesting to take a look behind the curtain," creator and director Mark Schwahn explained to E! Online. "Who are these people? What do they want? What will they do to get it? I thought it was really fascinating and a great idea for the foundation of a story."
