Lil Wayne's relationship with Cash Money Records just turned sour - fast.
Earlier this week, the YMCMB rapper went on a heated Twitter rant, ultimately throwing CEOs Bryan "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams under the bus:
@LilTunechi: "To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it."
@LilTunechi: "This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation."
@LilTunechi: "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy."
@LilTunechi: "I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don't blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u."

But now the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com suggests that internal trouble started brewing years ago, when former "Degrassi" star Drake was signed to the label.
Apparently, legal documents from a deposition handled by Weezy's longtime manager (Cash Money Chief Visionary Officer) Cortez Bryant just went viral online... involving a heated lawsuit with Drizzy's former managers.
According to the papers, Bryant currently works with several artists signed under Cash Money (he also allegedly owns Aspire Music Group). But when it comes to royalties and payments owed to various people within the comany, Bryant remains "unsure" on how such earnings are handled and distributed. MTO reports that "his company has requested to audit the financial records of Cash Money on several occasions." Bryant is suspecious, and feels the Cash Money head-honchoes "aren't paying them what they are due." Following the release of Drake's last two albums, they allegedly "have not received any royalties from either, despite being owed a large percentage of the money."
And several other artists signed to the label experience the exact same issue... it's very common to go "unpaid" when working with Cash Money (supposedly). View the "official" documents here.
Now that's scandalous... will Weezy do anything about it?
Based in New Orleans, Cash Money operates as a subsidiary of Universal Music Group and is distributed by Republic Records. FYI - Drizzy released his first YMCMB album Thank Me Later in 2010. Other popular artists under the popular hip-hop label include Tyga, Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, Kevin Rudolf, and Limp Bizkit (just to name a few).
Stay tuned as more shocking details develop...
