When Anthony Davis came in to the NBA, many projected that he'd be an elite-level star, but not many knew just how good he'd grow to be, and how much better he can still become. He is now being considered "as good as" or "better" than the likes of Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony, and it's safe to say his New Orleans Pelicans have a top talent on their hands, and one who many believe can dominate the league for the next ten years- at least.

His player efficiency rating is 33.3, which is a top rating for any star, let alone a young man. Pelicans coach Monty Williams isn't surprised. He explained, "He doesn't take a bad shot."
Rival player Ryan Hollins added: "He's not like Kobe or Carmelo, where you put together a [defensive] plan for him and say, 'If he gets the ball in this area, it's a bucket,' He doesn't hurt you in one place. He hurts you everywhere."
Davis has proven to be a leader at a very young age, he's growing in size, he's forever adding experience and knowledge to his game, and that scares his opponents. He sits at years younger than his rivals, with so much more to add to his game, and he's already a top, top talent. One can wonder where he will be in five to six years, and which a Durant-esque period of growth, could he become a year-in-year-out All-Star?
Davis is growing day by day, and other NBA teams might well have an unstoppable task on their hands, as nobody can keep up with his forever-changing ability.
