Diddy Punched Drake Over A Song, Not Girlfriend Cassie [DETAILS]

MStars News has learned just why Drake was punched by Sean Combs, aka Diddy.

According to TMZ, Diddy assaulted the rapper on Monday morning, Dec. 8 because of a song.

The gossip site reveals that the Revolt owner punched Drake at LIV nightclub in Miami Beach after a source claims that producer Boi-1da had given both men a song to produce and record a couple of months ago.

Apparently Drake was frustrated when he found out Diddy had the same song, but wasted time doing nothing with it. Drake eventually recorded the song, and made mega hits, as Diddy became outraged.

When both men spotted each other at LIV in Miami early Monday, things became heated. This was the first time both men had laid eyes on each other since the song was released to the public.

Sources close to the Revolt network creator described the altercation. They claim that Diddy approached Drake, who apparently ignored him, as Diddy yelled, "You'll never disrespect me again," as he then assaulted him.

MStars News previously reported that Drake ended up in ER after he injured his shoulder and made an old injury worse.

Rumors were Diddy punched Drake over Cassie, but that seems to be false...it was apparently about the music.
