American Horror Story: Freak Show is back for another round of freaky goodness. Last night's all-new episode featured some of the most gruesome scenes that we have seen all year, but also some of the most heartwarming of the season so far. I mean we have Dandy still out on his murder spree, but we also have a love confession coming from Dot to the man of her dreams.
The episode starts off with Maggie at her crystal ball giving Dandy a psychic reading. While, we know that the girl is about a big of a fraud as Millie Vanillie, it seems that the psychopathic killer is eating right out of her hand.
While the freak show mystic reveals that his future is looking pretty good for him, we see in flashbacks that he just murdered the Avon lady who came to the door of his house. One of the gruesome scenes this episode comes when Dandy decided to sow the cosmetic salespersons head to his mother dead and rotting corpse, and play with them like puppets in a stage show.
Maggie is simply telling him what he wants to hear, and for that he tips her a hefty sum of $100 dollars, to which she tells him to come back anytime for another reading. We are hoping he stays far away from our Emma Roberts though, because if he kills her, we are so done with this season.
Viewers finally get to see Bette and Dot again. The two are alive and well living out of some rundown motel. However, Elsa's plan to get rid of the girls has been kicked up a notch. Now instead of getting rid of them personally, she has enlisted the help of Stanley who she thinks has hired a surgeon to separate the twins right down the middle. However, it turns out that the surgeon is just one of his gay flings.
Jimmy spends much of the episode in a drunken stupor, as he gets into a scuffle with Dandy, and can't seem to get the bored housewife off at their Tupperware party.
However, it doesn't seem like they need someone to pleasure them, as right after Jimmy leaves, Dandy shows up asking the women if he can borrow their phone. It looks like his murderous tendencies have become too much for him, as he proceeds to kill all the women and throw them into their indoor swimming pool.
Dandy later comes home to swim in his own pool of blood, as he fills up his bathtub with some of his fresh kills' blood. Regina, played by Gabourey Sidibe, walks in on him only to hear him confess that he is the one that killed her mother. He has become truly delusional.
To give Bette and Dot the surgery, Elsa and Stanley have brought them out to a secluded barn in the middle of nowhere, seems like a perfectly sanitary place to get an operation if you ask us.
Stanley however isn't looking to go through with the procedure, but rather wants to euthanize the girls so that he can ship them off to a museum and make some money off of them.
However, while they wait for the fake surgeon to perform the operation, Bette makes the most moving speech to her sister. She lets her know that if only one of them is to live a normal life that she wants to give that gift to Dot. "I'd rather one of us really lives, then wither away together," she tells her sister.
As Regina goes to the police to confess to them what Dandy has just told her about killing all those women, Dandy turns the table on the maid's daughter. He tells the detective that he will pay him a million dollar is he kills Regina. The cop pulls out his gun and shoots Sidibe's character right in the head.
As the episode comes to an end, Dot and Bette make their triumphant return to the Freak Show. The girls have come back not only because they realized that the operation wasn't worth it, but also to see Jimmy.
Dot tells him that she came to the conclusion that she was going to give everything up to be normal but that she couldn't live without Bette, because she is the purest part of her soul. She then confesses that she has loved Jimmy since the day that she met him.
As she drops her robe to become intimate with Jimmy, Bette tells him that she can close her eyes and give them the privacy they need, and that she supports her sister wholeheartedly.
However, after kissing shortly, Jimmy breaks away, confessing that he is actually in love with another girl, most likely Maggie Esmerelda.
The twins turn away, heartbroken, but tell him that whomever he loves is one lucky girl.
In the final scene of the episode Jimmy is arrest for the murders of the housewives, which was actually Dandy's doing. However, when Jimmy was trying to pleasure them he left his glove at the crime scene. He is then taken away in the cop care to prison.
Tune in next week for the winter finale of American Horror Story.
