With the 200th episode milestone finally upon us, Bones just might be adding a new addition to season 10 on FOX. Will Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) end up "having a second child," giving their daughter, Christine, a baby brother or sister?
As we previously mentioned, the Jeffersonian team lost and added a new member at the same time. The tenth season premiere started with a shocker as Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley) meeting the Grim Reaper after trying to clear Booth's name. In the aftermath, Sweets' funeral was a way for the cast to say goodbye and introduce themselves to newcomer FBI Agent James Aubrey (John Boyd), Sweets' successor. Just because Aubrey wants to help the team, that doesn't mean Booth has to accept it.
We also mentioned Bones' 200th episode will be directed by Boreanez and pays homage to filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock. In the plot synopsis, Brennan (Deschanel) plays an LAPD detective in 1950s Hollywood, investigating the murder of a rich socialite.
According to TV Line, the Bones writing team will put in Deschanel's real-life pregnancy into the series' storyline. A representative for the Glory Road actress confirms that she and husband David Hornsby are expecting Baby No. 2.
Creator/showrunner Stephen Nathan tells the site, "Booth and Brennan, like most couples today, will continue to work, play and catch murderers - maybe they're unique in this respect - as their family grows. As with most new situations that have arisen in 10 years, we feel that this can only enhance the show. Although I'm sure there will be a vocal group of fans eager to attack me, I hope they will be pleasantly surprised by what we have in store."

We also mentioned Deschanel is eager to return for an eleventh season. "The network has to pick it up, for one. And people have expiring contracts. But under certain circumstances, I would definitely consider returning."
Bones continues Thursdays 8pm on FOX . Readers, are you excited to see the 200th episode?
