If you were wondering how the reboot of the Mad Max film franchise, from series director George Miller, would turn out, this week's Mad Max: Fury Road extended trailer for the 2015 film will definitely answer your questions. Starring Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and more, this movie is a demonic breath of fresh air in an industry full of dumbed-down reboots and remakes. This is the fourth film in the post-apocalyptic film franchise, but this new footage makes it look like the craziest movie ever. (SPOILERS to follow)

Slash Film points out that, while we're used to reboots in Hollywood popping up all over the place, this is a direct sequel with a new leading man. Hardy replaces Mel Gibson, but the story is just as crazy and brutal.

There's just so much going on in this trailer that it's tough to really get a handle on everything. The movie was filmed over two years ago, with post-production taking most of the demand on this project. From the looks of this trailer, it was so very much worth it!

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is the fourth film of George Miller's Road Warrior/Mad Max franchise co-written and directed by Miller. The post-apocalyptic action film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order... There's Max (played by TOM HARDY from The Dark Knight Rises), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos.
