MStars News has learned that Eva Marcille had to do the unthinkable and identify the body of her dear friend, Stephanie Moseley.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Eva reflected on memories that she shared with the Hit The Floor star, as she held back tears.
"I met Stephanie Moseley in 2002," Marcille, 30, told ET reporters, as she stood outside of the apartment complex where her friend was killed. "She had just moved to LA — she was a part of a dance group called Best Kept Secret. My cousin was doing her makeup, and I just thought she was the most gorgeous girl. She didn't have any friends in LA ... so I decided I would take her under my wing."
"At that time, I was headed to college, and I decided I wanted to be a model," Marcille added, as she almost started to cry in pain. "So we made a pact, and we decided we were gonna figure this business out and become stars together."
Marcille went on to become a star, winning America's Next Top Model cycle 3, as Moseley danced for celebrities including, Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, and more.
"Stephanie was an absolute angel," Marcille stated. "She really was ... She's connected so many people together. She's just loved. She will never ever ever be forgotten. She is so loved."
Eva said, "Everyone has their problems, but if you're asking if anyone knew that something would come to this, hell no ... I thought it was a lie when I got the phone call."
The mother of a baby girl named Marley Rae said, "We shared life circumstances and what we're going through, and her life hasn't necessarily been rosy as of late. But I don't think — I know that I didn't think it was going to come to this."
MStars News previously learned that Moseley was killed by her husband, former Money Team rapper, Earl Hayes in a murder-suicide on Monday, Dec. 8.
Hayes, was friends with boxer Floyd Mayweather and called the champ in a rage revealing that he was upset about Moseley's multiple affairs, including a relationship with Trey Songz, before killing his wife and then himself as Floyd listened via FaceTime.
Moseley's Devil girl teammate, Taylour Paige has been taking the loss of her friend, and co-star very hard. She has been retweeting tweets that Moseley once wrote including one that may have been a warning sign to friends, and followers.
Earlier this year Moseley wrote:
"Don't be afraid of death, be afraid of an unlived life."
