The English Premier League's defending champions, Manchester City, are currently sitting in second place on the EPL standings, and hope that their advantage today against the league's bottom squad, Leicester City, adds to their title hopes. Coach Manuel Pellegirini and his team hope to capitalize on this matchup, but we all know that nothing is easy in football. "We started the season sloppily, but since the last international break we have hit form and got results," Pellegrini said, according to the Premier League's official website. "We have played well in some games and not so well in others, but still managed to grind out the results, and that is massively important."
Unfortunately, the EPL's top scorer, Sergio Aguero, will be on the bench for City this week due to a knee problem.

Meanwhile, Leicester isn't exactly an easy squad despite they're position on the standings. They defeated current third place team Manchester United earlier in the season, so it could happen again!
"Ultimately we've still got to be able to perform ourselves and whatever they think of us, in terms of being a threat, we don't disappoint them," coach Nigel Pearson said of the match. "We're in need of a result. It's not about fear or considering too much their stance on it. We've got a game to win for our own reasons."
