The Sony email hack has another victim, with Mark Cuban's salary for Shark Tank being revealed in a string of emails between Cuban, his lawyer and Sony Pictures Television president Steve Mosko. The Shark Tank judge, entrepreneur and billionaire owner of NBA team Dallas Mavericks calls the planned salary "beyond an insult" and swear to negotiate "like any other deal I would do". The leaked emails see Cuban join Kevin Hart, Angelina Jolie, Joel McHale, James Franco and Seth Rogen as celebrity victims of the 'Guardians of Peace' hack.

In just the type of scandal that no doubt led Cuban to invest in Cyber Dust, his WhatsApp-meets-SnapChat app where messages disappear after 30 seconds, Cuban had his mooted salary revealed in emails between Cuban Companies general counsel Robert Hart, Cuban and Mosko.

As Business Insider report, the emails - which are from September- Hart explains to Cuban that his salary for three seasons of Shark Tank would be "$30,000 per episode for season 5, $31,200 for season 6, and $32,488 for season 7."

Shark Tank's fifth season, explains Business Insider, "had 29 episodes, meaning Cuban would have received $904,800."

Not only did Hart explain to Cuban his salary, Business Insider point out, but also other sticking points in the negotiations, which revolved around Cuban's "exploiting various aspects of the show" including promoting his involvement on his websites, with Hart explaining that Sony basically wanted rights to his "catchphrases ... nicknames, gestures, utterances, etc." on Shark Tank.

As US Weekly point out, also in on the email "were the show's executive producer Mark Burnett and Sony's EVP of U.S. reality and syndication programming Holly Jacobs."

Cuban, who made a fortune building and then selling broadcast.com during the dot com boom, responded saying:

seriously?

no chance... this is beyond an insult and it shows no one cares about the investments I have made or the entrepreneurs

now it's really business..

I will negotiate like any other deal I would do

you may want to start cutting me out of the promos

m

Business Insider add that "Mosko asked Sony Pictures TV presidents of programming and production Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg whether he should worry about Cuban's response."

In the report, BI also asked for a comment for Cuban regarding the leak, and he emailed them back, saying:

I look at it as a positive that I had direct access to Steve

Now we communicate via Cyber dust

You can read the emails at businessinsider.com — who also point out that fellow Shark Tank 'Shark' Kevin O'Leary takes home $30,000/episode, while other ABC show personalities such as Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli on $30,000 an hour, and The Bachelor's Chris Harrison $50,000 an hour.

Cuban also put to rest rumors that he was still looking to buy an MLB franchise to go with his 2011 NBA champion Mavericks as. According to the New York Post, at a Steiner Sports event in New York Cuban said "one team is enough."
