After making its grand entrance at the New York Comic Con, audiences are anxious to binge-watch the highly anticipated Netflix superhero series, Marvel's Daredevil. Because they are both in the same Marvel Universe, will audiences see Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) facing off S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen)?
As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals gave him back his sight. By day, Murdock is the blind lawyer attending courtroom battles, but by night, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice protecting Hell's Kitchen from crime.
In two previous episodes, The Things We Bury, and Shadows, we have seen flashbacks of Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), which lead into her own spy drama, Agent Carter. Even though Netflix and ABC are two different networks, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Daredevil belong to the same universe. Would it still be possible for both shows to share a crossover event?
In an interview with IGN, May teases she would love to see these two characters interact, "Absolutely, and I think it would be so much fun for us as actors to be able to go into other worlds and for the fans too if that is the intention for Marvel, with their whole motto of 'It's all connected,' I'm all for it!

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress adds, "It's just such an exciting time to be part of this world and I know any time we have a new guest star come on, they get all giddy and excited too because I think everyone is starting to feel the potential of what all this can be and it's just such an unbelievable endeavor for Marvel."
As we previously mentioned, even Clark Gregg is interested in Agent Phil Coulson having a confrontation with the man without fear. Because S.H.I.E.L.D. is a law enforcement agency, they wouldn't be too happy with a vigilante taking justice into his own hands. Just like in the comics, they would have to butt heads before teaming up.
Marvel's Daredevil is expected to premiere on Netflix in May 2015. Readers, are you excited to see Charlie Cox as the man without fear?
