Now that we are in the midst of December and with just a month away, ABC has just released an official poster, a new clip, and announced a special guest star in the upcoming spy/action drama. With the January premiere date of Marvel's Agent Carter coming up, will Peggy Carter (Hayley Attwell) realize, "Now is Not the End?"
We previously mentioned here that show focuses on Peggy (Atwell) trying to balance an office job with the Strategic Scientific Reserve, while going on secret missions with Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). While Peggy attempts to pull off her juggling act, Stark has been framed for selling weapons on the black market.
Entertainment Weekly got the scoop on the official poster from ABC. In the design, Carter herself is kept in the shadows. Even her face is half covered by the round edges of her red hat. Carter certainly captures the look of a femme fatale, straight from a '60s spy novel. This is very different from the posters given out during New York Comic Con.
Marvel also posted the episode descriptions for Now Is Not the End and Bridge And Tunnel. Both episodes deal with Peggy trying to clear Stark's name while staying ahead of the SSR. If she gets caught by her bosses, Peggy will be deemed a traitor.
According to Comic Book Resources, the Spider-Man creator made an appearance alongside Kevin Smith to promote Roy Thomas' book, 75 Years of Marvel: From the Golden Age to the Silver Screen.
After showing up in the Fantastic Four and the Guardians of the Galaxy films, Lee reveals his signature cameo appearance will take place in the fourth episode of Agent Carter. "Watch for the fourth one. I think my cameo is in the fourth episode. They ought to be ashamed of themselves that they didn't give me three others before that but what the hell -- it's kind of a good cameo."

We also mentioned that the series premiere will be a special two-hour event. Though originally an eight-episode arc, ABC has now tightened it up into a seven-part television event. The debut will take place in a two-hour time slot from 8 to 10pm.
The first two episodes of Marvel's Agent Carter premieres January 6 on ABC. Readers, are you excited to see Stan Lee's guest appearance?
