The red band trailer has been released for Matthew Vaughn's upcoming Kingsman: The Secret Service. Kicking up the comic book genre up a notch, the trailer features Colin Firth and Samuel L. Jackson as they let loose playing the hero and villain, in all their expletive glory.

As we previously mentioned, in Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' The Secret Service comic, a young man is recruited into the espionage world, training to become a James Bond-like secret agent. In the movie version, secret agent Harry Hart (Firth) uses his high security rank to release his nephew from prison. Hart sees potential in Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin (Taron Egerton), thinking he can train him into a spy.

Screenrant describes the Pulp Fiction actor as the antagonist Valentine, a maniacal tech genius whose latest scheme poses a global threat. Here are 5 reasons why how the red trailer gives the secret agent genre an R-rated look.

5) The Chick With No Legs

In director Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass, most of the graphic violence and bloody head-shots came from Chloë Grace Moretz's Hit-Girl character. Who wants to bet that the bloody action in this movie comes from Sofia Boutella's Gazelle, the assassin with swords for legs.

4) Sex

With his super-powered glasses, what does Eggsy want to use them for? That's right, he's going to record himself having sex with the damsel in distress. I'm pretty sure James Bond did that once with his fancy gadgets.

3) Did That Guy's Head Exploded?

In his training session, Eggsy and Hart watch someone's head blown off. Eggys responds with, "A bit much, isn't it?" If you notice in the scene, actor Mark Strong reunites his Kick-Ass director for another comic book movie.

2) Do I Look Like I Give A...

Valentine (Jackson) just wants to party at the end of the world. The Avengers actor dominates the scene with his lisp and foul-mouthed delivery.

1) Butt-Kicking Soundtrack

As we previously mentioned, we heard a snippet of the untitled Iggy Azalea song featuring Ellie Goulding from the last trailer. In the previous trailer, The Knack's My Sharona and David Bowie's Suffragette City were featured. This one plays Deep Purple's Hush in the background.

Kingsman: The Secret Service will hit theaters on February 13, just before Valentine's Day. Readers, what did you think of the red band trailer?
