Hayden, Wladimir and baby make three. Nashville star Hayden Panettiere and her boxing pro fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, just welcomed a new addition to their family earlier this week. The 25-year-old actress and her heavyweight boxer of a boyfriend couldn't be happier, as they brought their daughter into the world. According to new reports, the couple decided on a traditional eastern European name, for their baby.
People magazine was the first news site to report on the delivery, saying that couple actually welcomed the child on Tuesday, December 9 and they agreed on the name of Kaya Evdokia Klitschko. Their new baby girl weighted in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and measured 20 inches longer.
The new parents said, "We are over the moon and madly in love!" after seeing daughter Kaya for the first time.
The former Heroes actress couldn't contain her excitement during the last few months of her pregnancy about finally getting to meet her daughter.
"I'm so ready to hold my baby girl," the actress explained to Hello! Magazine, earlier this year. "I'm going to be a very hands on mom. I'm thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too."
As for how her soon-to-be husband is going to be handling the baby, she told the publication "he's a resilient guy," adding, "He's so calm and patient. I have never heard this man raise a voice."
