Veronica Lighty: Feud Between Chris Lighty and Ex-wife Before Death? [PHOTOS]

Veronica M. Egel Lighty is Chris Lighty's ex-wife and they were reportedly arguing when Lighty shot himself in the head with a gun.  The death is being investigated and it is unsure what kind of brawl the hip hop mogul had with Veronica.  Many reports say that his death was caused by suicide.

Lighty, 44, was found dead in his Bronx apartment by police at approximately 11:30 a.m. EST on Thursday August 29, 2012.  A 9 mm gun was found next to his body.

The music executive's death came as a huge shock to the hip hop industry.  He was the manager of huge big hip hop stars including P.Diddy, 50 cent, Mariah Carey and Ja Rule and have influenced the industry greatly.

Some reports state that Chris had been experiencing financial difficulties with a huge debt of $5 million owed to the IRS.  Veronica and Chris married in 2003 and later divorced in 2011.  They have one son together named Jaden who is now 6 years old.  

Fat Joe expressed on Twitter, "R.I.P. Chris Lighty. That man saved my life."

"Rest peacefully Chris Lighty, my prayers go out to family and loved ones! Dear God please have mercy," Rihanna wrote.
