Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey Divorce Update: Actor Says He's Single After Amber Rose Dating Rumors Go Viral

Actor Nick Cannon opened up about his split from his estranged wife, Mariah Carey and says that he has not started dating since officially separating from the megastar.  

In an interview with CNN's Don Lemon, the 34-year-old revealed his current single status despite being rumored to be dating Amber Rose, "I'm dating no one. I'm not even ready for that right now. I'm just trying to focus on my family and my children."

The "Wild N' Out" host said he wanted to keep the split private, but people's inquisitiveness made them address the rumors, "I never wanted to step out there and confirm or deny because it really wasn't anyone else's business," he said. "You have to speak on things because people are curious."

In October, Nick denied his romantic relationship with Wiz Khalifa's ex-wife in an interview with TMZ after being photographed at an amusement park for the model's birthday, "It wasn't all to myself. You know what it was? The best part of every rollercoaster is on the front of the back. So all of those people were on the car with us, but nobody wanted sit in the middle. We were there with like 20 people."

He added, "Would I be out there at amusement parks and all over the place with someone I was trying to creep with? No, that's just my people. I'm here manager and we are cool."

According to TMZ, the actress filed divorce papers from her husband, Wiz Khalifa on September 24 citing irreconcilable differences asking for full legal and physical custody. The site reported, the model wants the prenup to stand because she would receive millions only after their 1-year marriage. In addition to the lump sum of money, the soon-to-be ex-wife also wants spousal support and full custody of their 1-year-old son, Sebastian.
