The Backstreet Boys are making a comeback! The five grown up men are no longer boys, but they still have their good looks and charms, and of course their smooth harmonies. AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson and Nick Carter reunited and made a special appearance on Good Morning America's summer concert stage on Friday August 30, 2012. They announced some exciting future plans to the GMA viewers.
"Well, 2013 is going to be a big year for us," Richardson said. "It's our 20th anniversary. We're in the studio right now working on an album. So we are gonna have that ready, hopefully, for the beginning of next year."
Another one of give McLean added, "Next year, just so you guys know, there will be a BSB cruise next year, in October, with all five."
Music cruises are not very common with pop stars, however many country and Christian singers hold cruise concerts throughout the year.
According to New York Times' Joe Levy, "The rise of the music cruise has been an unexpected bright spot. It remains a surprise to many people that for somewhere in the neighborhood of $300 a day, you can vacation with your favorite rock stars for a few days, lie in the sun and eat as much as you want, but there is an ever-expanding roster of music cruises."
Music cruises are not only more affordable than people think, it is a great chance for fans to run into their favorite stars throughout the day on the cruise ship. There is no hiding away from paparazzi, and everyone enjoys their time on the mini vacation.
The give BSB boys are living together and recording in London now. They've pursued their own solo careers and ventures over the past decade to reunite again for a highly anticipated comeback.
