Mel B, Stephen Belafonte Domestic Abuse RUMORS: X-Factor Judge Seen Bruised, Husband Goes On Twitter Rant

Former Spice Girl member, Mel B is caught up in a domestic abuse scandal with her husband, Stephen Belafonte.

December 14, the artist formerly known as "Scary Spice" was thrown into a whirlwind of rumors after sources alleged seeing the UK's X-Factor judge with bruises on her face and arms and ended up missing the semi-finals due to an illness.

Dec. 15, Stephen addressed the rumors on his official twitter account telling fans, "don't usually respond to Twitter msgs but I will respond to comments of hitting my wife which I think are quite disgusting un true!" he added, "Mel was very ill a bunch of doctors helped her get better if fans can't just relax B4 being negative they r not real fans of @OfficialMelB."

Fans suspect marital problems when the singer addressed arriving to an interview with Huff Post three hours late due to a heated argument with her husband.

"I walked in pissed off because I had a big row with my husband about stupid stuff," she told the mag. "Sometimes he pisses me off like no other, but he gets me," she said in an interview with Grazia magazine.
