While The Flash is on its winter break on the CW network, casting additions have been announced for the upcoming first season. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will face another DC Comics super villain, The Golden Glider (Peyton List) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) gets a surprise visit from Nicholas Gonzalez.
In our first recap, Barry (Gustin) was just a little boy when he witnessed the death of his mother. Barry described a man in a yellow suit inside the bolt of lightning. After being struck by lightning and given super-speed powers, Barry intends to find the real killer who framed his father, Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp).
In the mid-season finale recap, the Reverse-Flash and the Flash were in a race across Central city, which the scarlet speedster ended up losing. Though the Reverse-Flash was caught in a force field, it didn't stop him from pulverizing Wells (Tom Cavanagh). If it wasn't for Firestorm (Robbie Amell), Barry wouldn't gotten a worse beatdown.
According to Access Hollywood, The Tomorrow People alum is joining the superhero drama as Leonard (Wentworth Miller)'s little sister, Lisa Snart (List), aka Golden Gilder. Her character is described as "sly, charming, and even a little sadistic. She's also not afraid to use her sexuality to get what she wants." Her character will show up in the sixteenth episode, titled Rogue Time.
In the DC Universe, the Golden Glider wears an orange ice-skater's costume, a mask, and uses her ice skates to create their own ice flow. At her disposal, she also uses diamonds and jewels as explosives or hypnotic devices.
In the same time, TV Line learns Cisco will meet his handsome and charming older brother Dante (Gonzalez). Dante is described as "a gifted pianist, but he never reached his potential and secretly resents Cisco's success." The brotherly reunion forces them to rely on each other if they're going to survive.
