CW's 'The Flash' Spoilers: Will Robbie Amell, Grant Gustin Feel Firestorm's Wrath Against Barry Allen? [WATCH]

While The Flash is on its winter break on the CW network, a sneak peek had been released for the upcoming second half of the first season. It's fire versus speed as Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) confronts another DC Comics superhero, Firestorm aka Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell).

In our first recap, while Barry (Gustin)was struck by lightning, Ronnie (Amell) was rescuing his fiancee, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker). Though Ronnie saved her life, he couldn't prevent his own death. Ronnie supposedly died that night as his entire body was awash in flames from the particle accelerator explosion.

In the mid-season finale recap, while the Reverse-Flash and the Flash racing across Central city, Caitlin discovered Ronnie was still alive, but mentally damaged from the explosion. When the Reverse-Flash came after Caitlin and Cisco, the Flash tried to stop him but was losing the fight. If it wasn't for Firestorm (Robbie Amell) and his powers, Barry wouldn't gotten a worse beatdown. In a heartbreaking moment, Ronnie told Caitlin not to look for him and flew off into the air.

According to Cinema Blend, The Tomorrow People actor posted an Instagram snapshot of himself in costume. We see the DC Comics superhero in his black leathery outfit during a late-night shoot. This is very different from the bright red and yellow costume, and his hair isn't on fire. If you notice, he still has the insignia on his chest

We also mentioned the scarlet speedster meet another DC Comics super villain, The Golden Glider (played by Peyton List) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) gets a surprise visit from his brother Dante (Nicholas Gonzalez).

Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor Mark Hamill also reprise his role as Trickster and has a reunion with the original scarlet speedster, John Wesley Shipp.
