With 2014 coming to an end, we thought we'd take a look at the top 10 charities that were endorsed and/or supported by celebrities. This feel good list is sure to put a smile on your face, and hopefully open up your mind to new charities that some of our favorite stars found to be worth the money and effort! It might come as no surprise that the number 1 spot on this list belongs to the ALS Association after so many celebrities made great Ice Bucket Challenge videos in 2014, but we hope to share more information about the others on this top list! Here is a list of the top 10 charities endorsed by celebrities:

1. ALS Association

3. UNICEF United Nations

Celebrity Intelligence notes that the above number 2 and 3 results were a bit surprising.

"Most surprisingly, Epilepsy Action is Number 2 in the Top Celebrity Supported list, surpassing the global UNICEF in terms of celebrity supporters; an impressive feat for a UK-based, cause-specific charity," the website explained.

4. Oxfam GB

This is a collective of charity organizations coming together to fight world poverty and find solutions to injustice.

5. Stand Up To Cancer

This program aims to raise funds for cancer research and treatment.

6. Sport Relief

This Comic Relief offshoot uses sports and activities to raise money for the poor all over the world.            

7. BBC Children in Need

Since 1980, this organization has been raising money to help improve the lives of disabled children and young people in the United Kingdom.

8. Willow Foundation

A charity that works will seriously ill young adults from the age of 16 to 40, aiming to improve the lives of those in need.

9. Royal British Legion

Members and veterans of the Armed Forces receive welfare from this charity.

10. Alder Hey Children's Charity

This charity is based around a Children's Hospital of the same name.
