According to Celebrity Intelligence, the actress is widely known for her charity work, so her topping this 2014 list comes as no surprise. This past year saw Lumley lending her support to 11 charities, including Epilepsy Action, Royal British Legion and Small Steps Project.

Coming in second place on this prestigious list is funny man Ricky Gervais. who spent his time focusing on animal charities in 2014. Other familiar names include Benedict Cumberbatch, Selena Gomez and many more!
