James Franco is NOT dead! Although the actor's new (highly-controversial) movie "The Interview" might be...
Earlier this month, rumors erupted online that the 36-year-old comedian was found "shot and killed" inside of his Los Angeles home. Not true...
The FAKE celebrity gossip website CityWorldNews.com falsly reports:
(December 19, 2014)
Sources are reporting that James Franco, best known for his roles in 'Freaks and Geeks,' 'Pineapple Express,' and many other well known films, has been found dead at the age of 36.
Multiple unconfirmed reports say Franco was found dead early Friday morning in his Los Angeles home after police responded to a frantic call from the actor's childhood friend - John Nance. Franco was reportedly found tied to a chair with multiple gun shot wounds to the head and abdomen.
"This is obviously being treated as a homicide case, but we need the coroner to make a final ruling for the homicide to be official," said Det. Ryan Gastin, of the Los Angeles Police Department. "That's all the information we have at this time."
People are already speculating if Franco's homicide could be related to the North Korean Sony hack which shut down the release of Franco's controversial film, 'The Interview'...
This story is still developing. More details will be made available once they emerge.
Pretty intense and violent.
But if readers pay closer attention, a specific section of the site's "Disclaimer" reads:

Thankfully, not many fans fell for the morbid hoax. However, #RIPTheInterview continues trending on Twitter:
@CoolVidsFTW: "RIP @SonyPictures's $44M on @TheInterview."
@That_Angry: "rip the interview now i just gotta wait for a different group of hackers to leak it on every torrent site known to man."
@bigbabymilo: "they canceled the release of the interview. rip america. the communists won."
