Kelly Clarkson had a little health scare over the weekend. The American Idol winner had to be taken to the emergency room on Saturday morning, and was almost unable to perform at the Miracle on Broadway charity concert event, which took place in Nashville that night. The singer was scheduled to take the stage with Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Meghan Trainor and many more, but an illness almost forced her to sit the show out.
According to People magazine, the singer was able to make a full recovery just in time for the event.
"Y'all, I spent the morning in the ER!" the singer told the audience when she got onstage. "But don't worry. They gave me a shot of B12, and I'm feeling great and so excited to be here!"
Clarkson even made the event a family affair, as according to E! News, the singer brought her daughter River Rose onstage, to introduce her to the audience.

"Isn't she just the cutest?" Clarkson said while showing off her 6-month old daughter to the sold out crowd. "This is her first Christmas and her first Christmas dress and I just had to bring her out here to show her off. I've probably scarred her for life!"
The singer also took to the stage with two other music legends, Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire, as the trio sang "Silent Night."
McEntire even took the time out to say some kind words about her Clarkson, who just so happens to be her daughter-in-law. "All you young girls out there who want to be a singer, Kelly is one to follow. She's not only a great singer, she has the biggest heart I know. She is a true role model and I'm so proud of her."
