L.A. police are supposedly seeking to interrogate the pop duo Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez in reference to an alleged paparazzi scuffle which the Biebs was involved in back in May. According to police, the DA has acquired additional information about the altercation and would now like to talk to the young celebrity couple.
According to TMZ, Bieber's confrontation with the photographer occurred after the paparazzo attempted to snap pics of the 18-year-old "Believe" star and his 20-year-old sweetheart as they were exiting a movie theater at The Commons mall in Calabasas, CA in May. The photographer ultimately filed a police complaint and cops investigated the case as misdemeanor battery, but no charges were filed.
Now, looks like the cops are ready to look more deeply into the matter, and plan on contacting the two megastars soon. According to sources close to the Biebs, the "Boyfriend" singer will be happy to oblige and discuss the details of the event.
One source claims to NDTV Movies, "The police file went to the DA for review in June - but law enforcement sources have since kicked it back asking for more info. So far, cops have not made contact with the two singers - but they plan to very shortly."
