Should they change the name of Dancing With the Stars to Drugging With the Stars? Well they might have to, as the ABC reality series has come under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department after speculation arose that the producers of the show were providing cast members with drugs.

According to Radar Online, who obtained a series of text messages between one of the producers and a professional dancer, it seems that illegal drugs were definitely a big topic of discussion. Not only did the cast and crew use code names in their texts to ask for drugs, but the conversations tended to get flirtatious at times.

One of the texts, which was sent out on December 30, 2013 read, "I got moon rocks, it's the highest form of Molly. Pure crystal." While another one said, "Hey babe! Can I get some nose candy from you? Need it tomorrow if possible..."

The texts suggest that it was both female and male dancers who were looking to score some of the illegal goods from the showrunners. One of the female dancers called the producers "babe" in a series of texts, while it was being reported that a male dancer sent the nose emoji to producers as a code for wanting drugs.

According to The Inquistr, the production company BBC Worldwide released a statement regarding the alleged investigation.

"The LAPD have not notified us or confirmed that any investigation is underway and we therefore have no further comment to make on the subject," a spokesperson for the company explained.
