After a few weeks of terrorist threats, email hacks and even release date cancellations, Sony has decided to release The Interview on Christmas day in select theaters. We have the complete list of theaters showing the James Franco and Seth Rogen North Korea assassination comedy below, but is there another option to watch The Interview? According to reports, Sony might be releasing the movie on YouTube this Christmas!

According to CNN (via Film Drunk), we might be able to watch the movie on YouTube through a rental service. Also, Sony is allegedly looking into other online companies for similar rentals of the film, starting on Christmas day.

UPDATE: It turns out there will be plenty of viewing options starting TODAY, Dec. 24!
