Michael Duncan Clark suffered a heart attack on July 13, 2012, and never fully recovered. The "Green Mile" star has died on Monday morning after being in the hospital for nearly two months of treatment, according to Duncan's fiancee, Rev. Omarosa Manigault.
A statement released said, "Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."
Duncan is most known for his prominent role as a death row inmate in the hit movie "The Green Mile." The 6-foot-5 tall actor also had a baritone voice that was featured in several animated movies including "Kung Fu Panda," "Brother Bear," and "Delgo."
Prior to "The Green Mile", he mostly played minor roles in films. Bruce Willis recommended him for "The Green Mile" and Duncan has since worked with Willis in several more films including "Breakfast of Champions," "Sin City," and "The Whole Nine Yards."
