Rapper Lil Wayne released his free mix tape "Dedication 4" to his loyal fans on September 3, 2012. It was the day when most American would take a rest from their work and enjoy a day off, however Lil Wayne's team was hard at work preparing the mix tape.
On Labor day, he finally tweeted, "D4 Dropping at 4pm! Thk u all for the luv!!!!!!!!!!!"
This mix tape features Nicki Minaj, Young Jeezy, J. Cole, Flo, Birdman, Jae Millz and Gudda Gudda among others.
The last Dedication mix tape was released in 2008 titled "Dedication 3." Between the two Dedication mix tapes, Lil Tunechi also released five other mix tapes and four full-length studio albums.
"Dedication 4" was supposed to drop on August 15, but was delayed. It even had a "fancy" trailer posted a few days before the release to give greater anticipation to fans. "Listen, man: D4 is done. It's right here," he said in the Volga.
