Rapper Lil Wayne is threatening to sue his label Cash Money if his album, "Tha Carter V" isn't released. According to TMZ, Lil Wayne and his alleged mentor, Birdman are not on speaking terms and the rapper is taking legal action soon if he doesn't comply.
As previously reported, Lil Wayne is ditching his Cash Money affiliation in his beef with Baby and says he's only representing Young Money after admitting that he wanted to get out of his contract with his longtime friend and mentor.
Dec. 11, Lil Wayne tweeted, "YM! That's it. Nothing else."
The beef started when the rapper took to twitter to vent his frustrations about his album delays and slammed the YMCMB CEO's for the pushbacks.
"To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it," he tweeted Dec. 4, "This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation."
