It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Pittsburgh Penguins battle it out on the ice against the New Jersey Devils in Week 12 of the regular season on Monday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Prudential Center in Newark. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Monday night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Penguins snag the impressive No. 5 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with a 22-8-5 record:
"The Pens have dropped two in a row but still have points in eight of 10 in spite of an injury list that grows larger by the day."
Meanwhile, the Devils currently hold the meager No. 28 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 12-18-7 record. According to Burnside:
"Do you feel bad for Pete DeBoer or relieved as he was fired during the Christmas break? The Devils have won once in their past nine games. Can Adam Oates and Scott Stevens (and GM Lou Lamoriello) make a difference?"
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels MSG+ and ROOT, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 620 WDAE, WGN, WFAN, and 97.1 The Ticket.
