It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Nashville Predators battle it out on the ice against the Chicago Blackhawks in Week 11 of the regular season on Monday, December 29 at 8:30 p.m. EST at the United Center in Illinois. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Monday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Predators snag the impressive No. 2 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 23-9-2 winning record:
"The Predators own the top winning percentage in the game, and if they continue to get balanced scoring, they have to be considered a Cup contender."
Meanwhile, the Blackhawks currently hold the awesome No. 1 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 24-10-2 record. According to Burnside:
"The Blackhawks spotted the Avalanche two early leads in Denver and still crushed them on Saturday as they continued their winning ways en route to the Winter Classic in D.C. on Jan. 1."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSTN and CSNC, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WBUZ, WNSR, WGN, and WBUZ.
