Sofia Vergara is on her way to starting her own Modern Family. The star of the ABC comedy series got an extra special Christmas gift as her boyfriend of a few months, Joe Manganiello, proposed to her. The True Blood actor used the holiday as the perfect opportunity to pop the question and to get engaged to his girlfriend, with whom he has been in a relationship with since July.
While the couple has yet to publically make the announcement that they are engaged, E! News is reporting that Joe definitely proposed to Sofia on Christmas day, and she accepted.
"I've never seen two people so truly in love," an insider revealed to the news site. "The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It's incredible."
Vergara also has no qualms about making some grand gestures towards her hubby-to-be, as she posted a heartfelt message to Manganiello on her Instagram account for the star's birthday earlier this week.

"Happy happy bday to my love and best friend. To the one that makes me laugh like crazy!" the star wrote underneath a picture of her boyfriend, adding "have a healthy wonderful year babe!!! @joemanganiello."
The couple is currently in Hawaii where they are celebrating the star's birthday, but now it makes more sense as it is also an engagement getaway.
The two were previously spotted shopping in Los Angeles for rings at the beginning of December, which made the engagement rumor mill go into overdrive.
This is the first serious relationship for Vergara following calling off her 2-year engagement to Nick Loeb back in May of 2014.
