Just give it some time - apparently, Lil Wayne will resolve his differences with Cash Money Records soon.
At least according to Young Money hypeman Mack Maine, who forsees a "positive and optimistic" future in regards to the highly-anticipated release of Weezy's new album, The Carter V.
And yes - this means an eventual reconciliation with CM mogul, Birdman.
In a recent interview with Miami's 99 Jamz, the Rich Gang rapper reveals:
"He's touching up the album and about to start another special project for the people... I can't give a definitive date [for Tha Carter V Part 1]. I can just say first quarter, for sure... It's coming out. Don't get it twisted like it's not coming out."
Apparently Maine agrees with fellow YMCMB sweetheart Nicki Minaj - the crew's a family, and they'll always stick together:
"I pray that everything works itself out... I got an optimistic, positive vibe about everything," Maine explains. "It's just some business that's gon' need to be handled. Once that's handled we're going to keep moving. And it's getting handled as we speak."
Perhaps he's referring to another surprise release... Sorry 4 The Wait 2?
