It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The St. Louis Blues battle it out on the ice against the Nashville Predators in Week 12 of the NHL regular season on Tuesday, December 30 at 8:00 p.m. EST at Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee. Heading into the first few weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Blues snag the No. 11 spot in Scott Burnside's official power rankings for ESPN.com with a 21-11-3 record:
"Something appears to be amiss in St. Louis, as the Blues have lost two in a row. Brian Elliott can't return soon enough. Jaden Schwartz, too."
Meanwhile, the Predators currently hold the impressive No. 2 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 23-9-2 record. According to Burnside:
"The Predators own the top winning percentage in the game, and if they continue to get balanced scoring, they have to be considered a Cup contender."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSMW and FSTN, but fans can also listen in on the radio at KMOX, KTUI-FM, WBUZ, and WNSR.
