John Mayer, Giada De Laurentiis Cheating Scandal Caused Divorce? Katy Perry And Taylor Swift's Ex Hooking Up With Food Network Host?

Is there about to be a love connection between Giada De Laurentiis and John Mayer now that she has filed for divorce from her husband of 11 years? The Food Network star, who has been separated from her husband Todd Thompson since July, officially announced that the pair was getting a divorce earlier this week. While the split seemed to be amicable for both parties, it makes bloggers wonder whether she will pursue things with her rumored affair partner Mayer now that her marriage is no more.

According to Radar Online, rumors of Giada and John hooking up became public news in 2010 three years after they met at a charity function for Tiger Woods in 2007.

It was reported that the stars got together Oct. 9, 2010, when they were at the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel together. News outlets began reporting that things had gotten steamy between John and Giada at the nightclub.

"Almost as soon as they saw each other, they left the room moments apart," the source explained. "Giada was leaning with her back against the wall, and John was right up against her. Giada was holding his hand and she just had a huge grin on her face. They looked like two people who were going to go home together."

When Giada was asked about the rumors, she told Redbook magazine, "I think the only things that could have possibly have tied us together is that we were at the same hotel that weekend in question, which, by the way, my husband was with me there as well."

Well, now that she's no longer happily married, does that mean she'll revisit things with her former flame?
