Jenny McCarthy, Taylor Swift To Kiss Ryan Seacrest On New Year's Rockin' Eve- Will American Idol Host Lock Lips With '1989' Singer After Miley Cyrus Lip Action Last Year?

Is there a love connection about to be made on tonight's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve? Well there will be if Jenny McCarthy has anything to say about it. Ryan Seacrest's co-host for the night is trying to play matchmaker when it comes to who she thinks Ryan should kiss at the stroke of midnight. While the host famously locked lips with Miley Cyrus during last year's broadcast, McCarthy is hoping to make it a tradition and have him kiss this year's performer, Taylor Swift.

According to E! News, McCarthy was introduced to her husband, Donnie Wahlberg, by Seacrest, and the blond beauty only feels it's fair to play matchmaker and return the favor to him.

"Now I have to do that, I promise you," the singer said of finding him a midnight kiss, adding, "I think Taylor Swift would be perfect."

Well, we figure since Taylor is headlining the bash this year it won't be hard to set up the lip exchange.

"Miley kissed you last year and they missed it on camera," the co-host joked about the highly publicized kiss. "Miley Cyrus, not bad. So Taylor Swift this year, I'm going to make it happen."

And it seems that Ryan would be all for the make out session, as he told ABC News that his New Year's Resolution was "to find someone to kiss on New Year's Eve." McCarthy on the other hand is going to try her hardest to "stop self-criticizing" in 2015.

Tune into the bash tonight when Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve airs at 8 pm on ABC.
