Robert Pattinson at MTV VMAs 2012: Hangs Out With The Fierce Five Backstage

Robert Pattinson showed up to the MTV VMAs 2012 to the delight of so many Twilight fans.  Pattinson was caught on the video cam hanging out with Olympic Gold medalists known as The Fierce Five moments before entering the stage.  The girls looked a bit shy and giddy in from of the tall actor.  

Unfortunately, Kristen Stewart couldn't make it to the VMAs this year, though Pattinson and Stewart were scheduled to present this year.  

Though he was sans Stewart, his other Twilight cast mate Taylor Lautner joined him on stage to introduce The Twilight Sage: Breaking Dawn Part 2 final trailer clip. 

‏Twitter users gave their input on seeing the trailer and Pattinson on the VMA stage.

@jasmine_ashleyy tweeted, "How could you cheat on Robert Pattinson? He's sexyy."

‏One user said what everyone must have been thinking. "Haha that preview was probably really awkward for Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
