Rihanna and Teyana Taylor are considered mutual "frenemies." But still, some over-protective fans just need to back-off!

Chris Brown's ex-flame and Karrueche Tran's loyal gal pal once indulged in an epic Twitter feud... but that was over a year ago. Some followers even considered RiRi's harsh online bashing of the VII songstress cyber bullying, but thankfully things eventually simmered-down.

But not for some members of Rihanna's loyal #TeamNavy!

According to the popular hip-hop gossip webloid TheYBF.com, a diehard supporter of the 26-year-old Barbadian beauty began dissing Taylor's family - specifically, her grandparents. They are both now deceased.

And Rihanna found that totally out-of-line. She even direct-messaged the tweeter, expressing her disapproval:

According to TheYBF, @cuntlifex recently shared these screenshot images "while reminiscing about 2014." Therefore, the messages are probably a few months old (at least).

So maybe they don't "like" each other, but at least RiRi was able to put her pride aside and stop the mean online "trolling."

Meanwhile, the "Diamonds" princess continues celebrating the New Year, island-time.

And Taylor's ready to take-on 2015, too...
