Teresa Giudice might only have a few days to prepare for her upcoming prison sentence, but it looks like while she is behind bars her daughters won't know where their mother is. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is heading off to jail in three days and it seems that her daughters are being kept in the dark as to where their mom will be disappearing to for her 15-month stint.
According to Radar Online, Giudice refused to clue her two youngest daughters, Milania and Audriana, in on what is happening in her legal situation. However, she has filled her two oldest, 13-year-old Gia, and 10-year-old Gabriella in on where she will be spending her time.
"Teresa and Joe feel that they are too young to fully comprehend what is going on," the insider explained, adding that instead of saying she is going to jail, "Teresa and Joe are telling that girls that she is going away to work."
Now you might be scratching your heads saying that the whole reason Teresa requested to be put in a Connecticut correctional facility was so that her family could visit. Well apparently Teresa is telling Milania and Audriana some of the story, explaining that she'll be in jail working on a book.
"She told them she is going to jail to work on a book about jail," the insider revealed.
In related news, it seems like the prison sentence might have brought the family closer than ever, as Gia and her mom spent New Year's together to get in some quality time before she heads to prison. The daughter of the RHONJ star posted the following image on her Twitter account with the caption, "happy New Years with my best friend @Teresa_Giudice."
