The star posted the video for his 2.57 million followers on Twitter and he also wrote a message along with the clip to break the baby news.
"We wanted to share the news with you ourselves... Love Ben & Tricia," Macklemore, who's real name is Ben, posted on the site, along with a video of fiancée getting a sonogram.
In the clip, Ben laid down by his fiancée's side, as the ultrasound technician showed them the little baby that is currently growing inside Davis's belly. Also present for the news is Macklemore's mom Julie, according to People.
The video also reveals the possible due date for the baby, as the simple phrase "May 2015" shows up on the screen at the end of the clip.
The site is reporting that the reason that the musician made the video was because people in the media had been speculating about the pregnancy for some time.
"Today the media speculated about some big news in our life," the star wrote in the video. "So we decided to share it with you ourselves."
Ryan Lewis, who is Macklemore's creative partner, was also involved with the making of the very special announcement video, as he served as the co-producer on the project.
