Kate Hudson, Matt Bellamy Back Together? Derek Hough's Rumored New GF Goes Grocery Shopping With Muse Musician Amid Split

Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy are definitely not the kind of exes that we encounter in our everyday life. The pair called off their engagement at the end of last year, but it seems that the breakup has made them closer than ever. The two not only spent the holidays together at the Hudson's home in Colorado, but they were also spotted hitting up the grocery store together over the weekend.

According to E! News, the two were spotted as they made a grocery run after returning from their Christmas holiday in Aspen with Kate's family and friends. The pair looked casual as they got some of the essentials including toilet paper and other goodies at the store. An eyewitness told the news site that the former couple spent 20 minutes in the store before emerging with big smiles on their faces.

"Kate was seen laughing at what Matt was saying," a source told the news site as the pair was exiting the grocery store. "The two were in good spirits and looked as if they remain close despite the breakup. They both looked very relaxed, Kate looked really happy."

Kate wore a tribal printed long blanket dress with her blond hair flowing loosely around her shoulders, while Bellamy wore a hoodie with sweat pants, for the quick shopping run.

The couple has agreed to keep things friendly for their 3-year-old son who they share, and it seems like it is working out great for the former lovers-turned-besties.

"We're both very happy," the Muse musician posted on his Twitter account after the two called it quits. "It's for the best. Thanks for your kind words."
