It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Colorado Avalanche battle it out on the ice against the Chicago Blackhawks in Week 13 of the regular season on Tuesday, January 6 at 8:30 p.m. EST at the United Center in Illinois. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Tuesday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014-2015 regular season, the Avalanche snag the meager No. 24 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 15-6-8 winning record:
"Showing signs of life but too little, too late."
Meanwhile, the Blackhawks currently hold the awesome No. 1 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 26-11-2 record. According to LeBrun:
"A rival general manager said to me the other day: 'I've seen them live a few times this year -- nobody is playing hockey like they are. Period.' Enough said."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels Altitude, and CSNC, but fans can also listen in on the radio at KNEB, KTMM, WGN, and WBUZ.
